A bloke at work from St Helens was enthusing over the new Liverpool shirt and how great it was blady blady blah. I said "oh what colour they gone for" without a thought he said " red looks great" never realised I was taking the piss

It was more orange this season, so red is a fair answer.

To be fair it was only a few years ago they had a very un-Southampton kit, being red with pinstripes. It didn't look like them and I was pleased to see them return to type.

Amazingly **** launch btw, ****ing football these days...

i'd rather a club did this 'cool' launch than pay £47m for pickford and maguire.. that's daylight robbery us and sunderland have done man honestly

hull city afc and sunderland should be done for daylight robbery

i honestly expect a criminal charge attached to the money we received.. maguire is the most over rated player i've possibly ever seen in my history of watching football

You'd rather a club do a 'cool' kit launch than buy those 2 players? I'm not sure how they're linked, and they definitely aren't mutually exclusive.

if we'd done it my toes would've curled to ****.

that's the prem now though ain't it

spend ridiculous prices for average players, it's exactly why england is a million miles from competing at international level and english clubs in europe at a club level

i honestly think we have done a miracle.. £17m for maguire.. kin ell.

maguire is a nowhere near good enough for top level football. but we got £17m,
i think he's the most over rated player i've seen for a long time
cause maguire ran with the ball out of the box, he's suddenly the best player in football history..

hope leonid gets to use the money to build a good team
