When he's ready to play I assume he'll have to wear some form of head protection like Czech?
Dunno, is Cech's a medical necessity or does it have placebo value? I can never see those sort of head things offering much by way of protection, same as those masks they wear when they've had fractured cheekbones.

They certainly work, look at the evidence from rugby, they did a big review of kids wearing scrum caps and noticed a massive drop in concussion and head injuries. They had such an impact several leagues nationally made them mandatory for under 14's

There was an Italian player who used to wear one too - think he played for Chievo.
