Great logic, if you think the opposite to someone you disagree with then it means you must be right! How simple your world must be.

You have given me no reason to believe your educated on this subject, in fact when challenged on it you only further convinced me otherwise. The difference between us is I don't form strongly opinionated views on limited knowledge and try and shout others down, I accept that there are things we couldn't possibly know and form balanced views based on that.

As fun as it's been I think we've both had enough (and the rest of the board have had enough of us), so I'll leave it at that.

Enjoy the game tonight.

Challenged? <laugh> Do me a favour Airlie, the only thing you're liable to challenge is my patience. I could point you at a number of places on the web that would help you get some idea of the answers to the questions that seem to perplex you, such as the cost, numbers etc. There's even Government reports on it. They're hardly things we couldn't possibly know.

There's a couple of reasons I haven't, one is I didn't think it was worth going so deep into something you say you've no interest in, another is, I reckon it's beyond you. That's not just a random insult, it's a considered opinion based on your posts so far. Expressing my considered opinion, isn't 'shouting you down' it's part of a discussion.

You just seem intent on keeping your fingers in your ears and humming so you can't hear an answer you don't like, then assume that everyone else is as ignorant.

I bet you don't even see repeatedly calling someone an ignorant liar as being offensive in the least.

Pah, you're just trying to make mountains out of mole hills. It's just a storm in a D cup.

I wouldn't disagree with that. What I'd add is to repeat that most places haven't heard of rugby league, but many have some knowledge of the English Premier League.

I will test this out when we visit Myanmar(Burma) for a couple of weeks in a month's time. A random poll of maybe 50 residents could suffice. Will also ask if they can name any teams in the Premier League and whether they have heard of Hull City or Leeds United. Won't bother asking them about Darlington!

Salford v FC tonight, minutes applause for two Salford gents (I believe) and Arthur Bunting thoroughly wrecked by FC fans singing Old Faithful throughout. ****ing disrespectful ****s. Drunken cod 'ed bastards. And I like Hull FC.

Add in the Brawling between the Rovers fans at Featherstone last week.

I know NOTHING about rugby so what's the average attendance of KR and the attendance on FC at a regular season match? Because surely if they both add up to more then 15-20k it will be a rugby city.
You could say exactly the same if we had two professional football clubs in the city......add both of the attendances together and you can 'prove' what ever you like.
The Salford v FC game last night was their competitions equivalent of Man Utd or Man City v Hull City at the top of the top division and televised or not I don't think one side of the ground would have been completely empty, do you ? There were more people passed through the doors of Sainsburys on Sutton Park last night then were at Salford, and they close at 8.00pm.

I have been to Burma, they have satellite TV and many people will remember the 2014 FA Cup final, as well as watch the Premier League, so yes, they will have heard of Hull City.

We went in 2012 and that was a post by my wife(dated2012!) and I was not on here. All I recall was a huge poster of Messi holding an energy drink outside Yangon Airport.
