The DUP are likely to come to her aid. Sinn Fein will tell her to **** off. DUP have 10 seats which will get her over the line.
Not too sure how it's going to work/who will want what for partnering up. Could be another election within a couple of months if no arrangement can be made.

Yep. For me that's what will happen. I think the outcome of this election is due to young people, especially those at uni have got off their arses in their droves & voted for Labour. That & the elderly being **** scared of the dementia tax. She ran a very bad campaign.
Well Mrs May, you have ****ed this right up love. Whatever happens from here, even if the Tory's get in she hasn't been shown to be the leader that we want - she has lost support, seats but most of all confidence from all angles. Even some of her own party are questioning whether she can continue.
Highly likely to have to go through it all again after a few By Elections. I'm not over concerned at the outcome. Serves her right for pushing her luck and coming out with a Manifesto that was highly capable of being spun either way due to lack of detail. There was though one shining light in it all. Scotland. That irritating woman might just get put back in her cage for a while and the tail can stop trying to wag the dog. Perhaps it's all been worthwhile, just for that.

It's not great for Britain is it!! I wanted May to lose seats as I didn't like the selling off of the Public sector (Naylor Report is a disgrace). However, given that Labour were never going to get a majority, I would have probably been most happy with Tories getting 326 seats (to keep her in check and make her regret calling the election but still have a party with an absolute majority) and a big increase in youth voting (which there was, yay!). For too long the country has been mostly ambivalent to the democratic process whilst the baby boomer generation got pandered to by successive governments due to their sheer numbers and willingness to get out and vote. Thank god that may finally be changing.
Cannot wait to see how labours pledges on matters such as public services and free uni education etc nhs are to be funded ,good luck on that load of squit,its a debacle thats for sure.
Labour costed their manifesto fully. Conservatives didn't. I'm not going to claim all the numbers add up (I can't claim to have gone through it other than snippets) but find it hilarious that the press have backed Tory comments about a "magic money tree" when they didn't bother costing their own one and backtracked on two or three of the main money-making policies they put forward whilst standing by supposed increasing in spending and reductions in tax. Well they do seem to know a lot about this magic money tree, perhaps they have their own orchard?
Scotland was the spanner in the works otherwise it would have been even more of a disaster for the Tories. As it stands they can get by with the support of the DUP.
It's not a bad result for those of us who are 'middle of the road'ers. With the DUP The Conservatives have the working majority they need BUT they have take care not to push it. It's not quite the same as when the Lib Dems kept the barmier parts of the Tory Party in check, but it will do, FOR NOW.
There have been some very close results. One with a majority of two votes. What happens if it's a dead heat?
