I don't really agree. They can both be coached for sure, but with very different methods. If I take rowing as an example, then the ability to stay in time is definitely a technical skill that contributes to effective teamwork. But the thing I mean is more like the mindset or team spirit mentioned above. In a rowing eight the strongest rowers are usually in the middle of the boat and the technically best in the stroke and seven seats, which inevitably means the weakest are at the front end. I've definitely seen examples where the weakest rowers perform poorly because of a blame culture from their team-mates.Teamwork is generally a technical facet IMHO.
