Other reports now saying he has doubts about moving up north and being that far away from his family. Saying no deal is agreed.

I have to laugh. You get these Brazilian kids who move all over the world at 18, sometimes to places like Russia where their skin colour is a bit of an issue, and this lad is allegedly scared of moving to the other end of the country <laugh>

If true we really are breeding complete tarts these days.

Surely Chelsea have some say in this. They will want him to go to the team where he is going to have a greater chance of playing and not sitting on the bench all season. Also they would rather loan to a team who will not be a major rival to them next season which will of course work against us .......... maybe.

They'll also want him to go where he will develop best. Rafa could be a plus point in that.

Anyone else concerned at how long this and any other transfer activity I taking. I know it's early doors but I fully expected transfers as soon as the season ended. Cause planning was being fonenof the back of early promotion.

Concern sets in mid-August.

Not sure on Tammy. As per Hank's comment, I always thought Tammy was abbv for Tampon. This rumoured behaviour is very fitting. Could all be garbage mind, but if he is panicking about being a 2 hour train from London, let's move on. I'm not fussed, I don't think Chelsea want him to do a Lukaku and I'd rather get behind a NUFC player than support Chelskis abuse of an unfathamobly lax youth hoarding system.

You've got to think though that if Liverpool or Manchester wanted him, that London journey would be a lot easier.....

Firstly I think he'll get plenty of playing time with us, secondly the whole point of loaning him to a Prem team after his Championship loan was for him to take things up a level and play in a higher quality team, Brighton won't really offer him that, as they won't be spending particularly heavily and they'll be not much removed from their championship team.

Gossip column saying he should sign for us by Monday.

Here's his goals - nice mix of poacher goals, accurate shots, headers and skillful finishes:

Transfer window for English clubs opens on Friday 9/6 - its a bit early to start getting concerned! Maybe wait until Saturday.

Sorry. Should have put "plane" and reduced the time to an hour. Not as if he couldn't afford it. Even then I'd bet Roman foots the bill.

Might just as well get the train as fly, too much time wasted getting in and out of airports, Heathrow is a pain, it was better when you could fly into London City from Newcastle, anyhow if the lad is worrying about distance to London he needs to get his head sorted out, too many good players have screwed their careers up putting other priorities above playing, or just being too dumb to let the party lifestyle take over.

Abraham reminds me of Andy Cole. A lot. So this is a no brainer.
If we are going hell for leather for a youngster, it should be Loftus-Cheek. Probably the best young English player out there at the moment. This kid will be a top top player in the years to come.

He's the same age as Dele Alli
