Surely a bookie can offer whatever odds they want when it's their money up for grabs. When they make a new market for something they have to set the odds at something after all. What I assume is being referred to is Sky and others releasing rumours about clubs buying players in the hope that people will lump money on.
Yeah but a bookie can slash odds to entice you into thinking punters have lumped on because they know something? When in reality the bookie is being mischievous? The only way a bookie comes unstuck is if the bet actually comes in! And by that time he's most probably laid the bets off with another bookie? So he's not taking all the risks. I doubt a bookie would release untruths because that would there in black & white that they had lied!
Shame if he goes to Boro, would have liked to see him here. Thought he'd bring a bit of stability to our club.
The Slut is 2/1 favourite now with Hills... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ondon-oyster-cards-book-mormon-hopes-premier/
He comes across pretty well in that interview. It sounds like he's certainly done his homework. I liked the bit about him watching the Chelsea teams, under 23's & 18s.. he's probably already got an idea of who he'd like to borrow or even sign. After a bit of digging it sounds like his tactics/style of play is similar to Silva.. Dubbed as the “Russian Mourinho" he likes to play a 4-2-3-1, has done with CSKA and the Russian national team.. "Slutsky has shown his tactical versatility in terms of not being afraid to change things around in both defense and attack. Particularly fond of a strong defense and pace in attack" "CSKA Moscow usually adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation with two holding midfielders. Pace on the wings are also a factor that Slutsky has implemented in his highly effective system. In recent years CSKA have had pacey forwards who are effective in both a counter attacking system as well as link up play. Wing backs are also encouraged to venture higher up the pitch and overlap with wingers" "As a result, a holding midfielder is required to collect the ball from the center backs and move it up the pitch."
The Slut or The Monk? Tarts or Vicars? Still think Iain Dowie's in with a decent shout. The Good, The Bad or The Ugly? For my money we'll cross over to the dark side on Monday. The last days of Sodom and Gomorrah are upon us. Just so long as we never look back we should be ok.
