Without wanting to sound disrespectful to anybody on here practicing Ramadam, not being allowed to drink any water sounds like a stupid idea to me.
sometimes we dont understand the wisdom behind some things though...the fasting is very good for the body detox as well.
Fasting I can see the benefits off. I sometimes do a 5-2 week, where I have nothing to eat (other than fruit, juice, nuts) on a couple of days per week. Not drinking any water on the other hand to me seems like a dangerous idea that could lead to dehydration and kidney damage.

Fasting is just starving, denying the body of the nutrients it needs to maintain or grow so it enters a state of ketosis; it begins to feed on its own stores of fat. It's only healthy to fast if what you put in is healthy, nobody has ever fasted and eaten **** and got healthier by doing so. The basic principles of nutrition still apply.
That site mentions food, but nothing about drinking water. This article highlights some of the dangers about dehydration and offers advice to stay hydrated. Personally, I would not willingly deny my body essential hydration voluntarily. Fasting can be beneficial for health if you need to lose weight, and fast to the point where your body starts to use the fat stores for energy. Also that weight loss can help to reduce blood pressure and cholestrol, so for some people it can be beneficial. But denying your body water and increasing the risk of dehydration, which can cause kidney failure, brain damage, heart problems etc, that to me comes across as being a stupid idea.
If you need to lose weight, then fasting healthily is very beneficial. I've done it myself for cutting, it works a treat! Starving your body is not a good way to lose weight though, you can still enter ketosis whilst eating a very low carb diet for example, still providing the body with nutrition from protein bases etc.
but you are not denying it completely though as you can hydrate yourself enough for the day during thr evening and night really, it may cause some issues to people but that may be under lying problem but satistically speaking those fears are not really realised in numbers at all..
Yep, if I ever need to drop a few KG I eat a high protein low carb diet. So fish, meat, eggs and vegetables. Out goes the bread, potatoes, rice, pasta etc.
Bread is the devil man but it's so nice to eat! Potato gets a bad rep, it's a real beast of a health food though, more Vit C in a potato pound for pound than a lemon When I need to lose weight I just have to go full caveman in the kitchen.
Still tasting ain't it? I don't taste my food, I don't feel right...however the option is there. Enjoy your food! Nom nom
