Just saw a Pardew interview where he says he's interested in his next job being a project, either a chance at promotion or staying in the premier league.

also ruled out Sunderland due to once managing Newcastle.

With 'Boro probably going for Pearson and Sunderland not an option, is he a likely candidate for us?

For me he's the best of a bad bunch of out-of-work managers. I know its unlikely but id much rather we poach the best manager possible from another club. Most managers without a club are without a club for a reason.
 
I hope silvas parting gift to us is that he has hammered home to Ehab that we need to be recruiting players NOW? So we NEED a manager NOW! :emoticon-0107-sweat

Gotta say, after watching todays playoff final i've got that buzz back for next season. I just hope we get an exciting manager like a Silva or Wagner, someone to give us that excitement back at the KC and hopefully this time go up as champions!
