Am I the only one who thinks Joey deserves a knighthood for his services to sport and the world in general? His musings on twitter are first class and very insightful. He is an example to the young nowadays for the way he has turned his life around. Lets all rejoice safe in the knowledge that we have Joey to restore our faith in a humans ability to change. What a wonderful man.

Well said Mr Pouch.Not sure he has changed though.I think he is pretending to be mentally ill to get a transfer from noorcastle hospital.
 
Not surprised by anything that happened to be honest - not the worst thing I've ever seem and no doubt it Barton wasn't the scummy little thug we all know him to be he might not be getting 'picked on' so much.

Pointless trying to get a mag to admit he's scum though - while Carroll played for them his off-field antics were allways 'blown out of proportion' but as soon as he left and broke their little hearts he became the girlfriend-beating low-life we knew all along. Once Barton leaves it's be the same with him, especially when he crocks Ba or Hatem the first time he playes against them.

I don't know what all this has got to do with Geordies and Mackems! Definitely not all Newcastle fans are Geordies and in fact many thousands of Geordies support Sunderland...I wish that Sunderland fans wouldn't refer to the Skunks (Mags, Wor-Wors etc) as Geordies, because by doing so you are lumbering the Geordie Sunderland fans in the same basket..
