Can't say I'm interested in watches but, it's strange why they'd pick Silva as a brand ambassador.

Is he expected to make it visible on the touch-line, and labour upon checking it for the camera eye?

Or is he just expected to tell everyone he can how great it is?

"I'm gonna spend 10k on a watch that Marco Silva represents"

"Great. Who's Marco Silva?"

"A fairly successful, (at least industry) famous football manager of Hull City"

Most managers have deals with Audemars Piguet. Man U were sponsored by Hublot. Renault F1 have a deal with Bell & Ross. Tennis court clocks are mostly Omega/Rolex :emoticon-0119-puke: anything for a bit of brand recognition. Nadal/Massa/Bubba Watson are with Richard Mille.

time is the one thing that destroys atoms, worlds, rocks and seas

Whichever way the season panned out Silva was off - I think his time at City has been positive for his profile , struggling in the championship is the best we can hope for next season .... can't say I'll shed a tear if fall through the leagues ,

I'm sure I would..... !!!!!

Looks absolutely fantastic, never been, will have to add it to my list. Travelling is the best.

I'm off to Alesund in the north of Norway in 4 weeks and I've got an extra couple of days luckily as it looks awesome too. Never been that far north in Norway.
Worked in an iron ore mine processing plant in Malm, about 270 miles North (8 hours drive) of Aalesund in the mid 60s. Take some dark glasses - not much darkness in the summer up there. Beautiful country up there.

not sure if this has been posted but reports Silva won't be going to Porto?

Salary and budget disagreement

Positive it you ignore his away form and the way he folded under pressure for the last three games.
As he departed the club over the week end one can assume that he told the players before the Spurs game and the result and the way we played is testimony to his tactical genius.
Spurs were professional right up to the final whistle of the season and we chucked the towel in.

And the source...?

I not interested enough to bother validating this (as I believe Silva is leaving either way) but I was speaking to a Portuguese bloke today who cast doubt over Silva going to Porto.

He said that Porto are up to their earlobes in FFP which would leave Silva little room for improvement and that wouldn't best please his pal, Jorge Mendes.
