The player could force it through ... would love Sanchez.
won't come.
as i explained a couple of years ago it was touch & go between us & Arse for his signature. He explained his options to his wife & it was still touch & go until she googled nights out in Liverpool area and came across what appeared to be a popular nightspot called The Cheshire Cheese but after 10 mins she suddenly shrieked "Alexis you go to liverpool & you go on your own me & the kids stay here".
So ended our chances of signing the obvious Suarez replacement & it's all RHC's fault :bandit:

Liverpool are reportedly in the box seat to sign Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The versatile midfielder is eager for more regular starts and is said to be keen to find them elsewhere.

Philippe Coutinho offers encouraging news to Liverpool fans who fear he could leave for Barcelona
Philippe Coutinho has told worried Liverpool fans he sees his long term future at the club.

The Brazil star has long been linked with a move to Barcelona, with speculation mounting the Spanish giants will make a massive move in the summer, after both Neymar and Luis Suarez recommended he be the club’s next galactico signing.

Yet we can reveal the Reds have received no offer from any club for the midfielder...and there has been no contact from Barca or any agent.

mildly interesting but the reality is our record is only 35mil... I do say only... cos frankly you won't get a top player for that now.

If we are to buy anyone good then we will have to pay it at least once.

like 20mil won't get a kid now.

the rumoured arrivals are:

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) - 17 and likely to cost 12mil.. and maybe just be loaned right back there i dunno
Andrew Robertson (Hull) - 23, left full. no positional sense... fee supposedly 8mil..
Virgil van Dijk (Southampton) -25 LCB. injured... a clear 50mil purchase... if cheslea doesn't get there first... or city
Timo Werner (RBL) 21, striker.... got 21 goals this year. 30mil plus
Naby Keita (RBL) 22. CM.... 35mil.

thats 135mil right there.

put a team together using these players and what we have already and tell me how it would work

Timo Werner would be another exciting signing - can play wide or up front.

If he plays as striker, then I'd assume we're still after another wide attacker.

The dream signing would be Douglas Costa on the left. Mo Salah would be another quality addition.

We cannot compete financially with likes of Chelsea, Manchester city and Manchester United, possibly Arsenal too. It is therefore necessary that we buy prudently. I mean players that can develop within two years. I do not think we're going to buy a player for £M100.
