meh... decent isn't exactly a recommendation.

theres merc and theres real mercs... IF a guy is offered twice as much and conducts himself decently fine.

if say you are

shaqiri... no intent whatsoever and used to get contract at bayern then went to inter and got found out... fair enough you are a total and utter merc.

Salah was absolute rubbihs for chelsea

He wasn't great but he barely got a chance. Plus you have to factor in his appearances were probably 15 minutes here, 60 minutes with the reserves and under a mourinho team. Better players have looked **** (see KDB, Lukaku, Martial, Mkhitaryan)

He was good for Basel, he's been pretty decent for Roma and Fiorentina. Also his record for Egypt is pretty great. He has pretty decent stats. For someone who probably won't cost a lot and is a tricky winger with a bit of pace, a pretty decent scoring record and is only 24, he's exactly the type of signing you should be targetting in my opinion.

Salah is interesting one. Quick wide player than can play either side. Chips in with goals. Still quite young.

In theory should be decent player. Can't say I've seen enough of him in Italy but 15 goals in 30 games is good going for a wide forward. He's matching Mane in goals. 14 in 32 year before and 7 in 18 for fiorentina year before.

He's the type of player we need to play opposite Mane to add quality and width on both sides.

Just think Roma would want big big money for him given his age and season he's just had.

Haha. If chelsea was on a budget of course. Or if chelsea only had the option of mane as a wide forward (origi sturridge coutinho firmino and lallana dont really count they all come inside) then i would. We are stacked in that area. No point getting him to sit on the bench again he wont be happy. Especially since conte i think actually prefers 3 5 2 so no wingers

So coric basically needs a move and his agent loaded a shotgun with bird shot and fired off as many names as he could in one go.
