When Spurs had a reputation for being a cup team we were always told that anyone can win a cup its about winning 5 matches! Being consistent in the league was always the measure of being a good team. Now we are finally a consistent team in the league and have finished as runners up to team who are likely to win more matches than any other champions and you expect us to accept that the cup winners will have had a better season than us. Well I disagree

Better win the Quadruple next year then all they can say is that it was a bad year for opposition.

What famous people have said about Haig's ban:

Shaun Spicer, Washington USA: "We will not be releasing the tapes from the Oval Office discussing HAIGs ban from NOT606", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

D J Trump, Washington and Moscow: "We did not discuss HAIGs ban in the Oval Office", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Vlad Putin, Ubiqutious: "We will release the Oval Office tapes discussing HAIG's ban from NOT606 if the Americans ask us to", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Lizzie Windsor, London: [HASHTAG]#oftwithhismember[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Professor P Ennis, Cock Clinic, London: The clinic may not be able to survive financially without the regular visits from HAIG [HASHTAG]#sewitbackonagain[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Phil the Greek, Buckingham Palace: "Slitty eyed mods", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

The Rt Hon. T May (or may not), London inc Scotland: "follow your true leaders and do a U Turn Mods", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

J Corbyn Esq. The Peoples Republic of Islington: "The Labour Party have been considering Nationalising Wummery for some time now, we will take it into public ownership, free from the influence of free market moderation ", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG].

N Farage, UK: "The United Kingdom has paid through the nose for low quality wummery from the EEC for 46 years. We will no longer pay to support the European WUM mountain, we have far better home grown WUMs in the UK". [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

George Lancelot Osbourne, London Evenig Standard: "HAIGs ban came as a complete surprise and the Conservative government may no longer be able to return to a positive wummery balance by the end of this parliament" [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Barack Obama, USA: "Obamawum will ensure that there is free wummery available to everyone", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Arsene Wenger, The Library, Ashburton Grove: "I didn't see HAIGs ban coming", [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Maureen J Moanrinhio, Manchester: " Banning a WUM in the final week of the season is absolute madness, particularly as we have the Europa final in under a weeks time and some of my best wumsters are out injured." [HASHTAG]#FreeHAIG[/HASHTAG]

Further comments are anticipated.

If you disagree with Ginger then report him - but that would make you a grass and I know what your opinion of them is

so put Ginger on ignore

That's a pretty **** response considering you have enjoyed stoking the fire throughout the whole process with the poker firmly pointed at Hiag

Or did you practice what you preach?

naaaah, thought not.

Frankly I judge anyone who doesn't disagree with Ginger. Makes them a wrong 'un.

Simple fact is that in the days Arsenal last won the PL there were only two genuine contenders. Them and Utd.

Nowadays, the PL is far more competitive. There has been the emergence of City and Chelsea as the new moneybags clubs. Pool have new owners and are back up there challenging.

The end result is that it's now far harder to win it. Especially if you haven't got 100's of millions to spend every year.

Last year was a complete freak, and is unlikely to happen again in my lifetime.
This is completely true . Even in a one horse race , sometimes they stumble . Arsenal were the only organisation capable of coming around the clubhouse turn that could grab the lead . If Arsenal never won a Premier League title in the first 10 years , they would be in the same boat as Spurs and Liverpool , good teams without a title .

I've posted a thread on the Prem board to make it clear that I don't blame anyone for my unjust banning.

Pissed off that I couldn't be here to gloat over our trouncing of Leicester!

Great result today, too!

Well done to the Hurra-Kane!

Out of interest HIAG, do you still believe that no one stood up against your ban? I am hoping your comments on the Prem board were aimed at specific people, but if you are lumping myself, Spurlock and several others, then frankly that's not a great start.

Relax, my friend. My post - as with 99% of what I write on that board, is pure jest.

I would have expected no less from you, Spurly, Sky, Dier Hard, and a couple of others.

You support was duly noted.

By the way, Sky's petition to Parliament and the various comments made in support of it is brilliant!
