Hang on, I've just watched it. He condemns bombing and violence on all sides, but just won't single out the IRA. Quite right.

Stroller, I suppose then you would not condemn the IRA for their bombings and violence!

It's easy to be generic and condemn all violence, but Corbyn and MacDonnell actively supported an armed terrorist organisation murdering innocent men, women and children. If he had wanted to support the Nationalist cause, Corbyn could have supported John Hume and the non-violent movement, but he chose to support murdering terrorists. MacDonnell has since apologised. Corbyn hasn't.

Did they actively support murder? I don't think so.

Presumably Corbyn and MacDonnell would have said the killings by the IRA were justified as part of a war, and/or collateral damage. They were strong on the armed struggle and that's well documented. So was Diane "Einstein" Abbott.

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. If you supported the IRA in the middle of the Struggles, you either claimed killings were justified by war, or, more brutally, the end justifed the criminal means

The Tories seem to be doing their best to throw the election. Very poor campaign from them and as for mentioning fox hunting!! Bizarre.

I will not be at all surprised if we see a hung parliament.
I said at the time that it was a ridiculously risky decision to call the election. These days, nothing is a foregone conclusion and the Tories have put some very bad policy ideas into their manifesto (along with a few good ones too, but I'd say the same about Labour).

They accused Trump of doing that before he won the election, it seems he hasn't given up yet saying and doing stupid things.

Still don't think I'll be buying you a season ticket Col. Long way to go yet, and the Tories may be shocked into turning their anti Corbyn rhetoric to 11 - obviously their mates in the media were told that's it's time to go IRA on him.

Ah well, I'm afraid that I feel the same way about his past support for the IRA. I could never vote for someone who will always want to take our enemy's side. However, I'm now no longer sure that I can vote Tory either. It's a ****-fest!!
