Admiration for anyone who has watched the complete 15 hour Ring Cycle opera. Have only managed Tannhauser a couple of times. Below is a quick summary of the story. https://www.theguardian.com/culture...o/2013/sep/18/wagners-ring-cycle-2-mins-video
To put it simply, we've been the best team in Yorkshire for about a decade - I want that to continue. Us being the best team in Yorkshire, maximises our chances for growth and prosperity at home and across the world.
10 years of youngsters growing up with the excitement of supporting city is priceless! Everyone must admit it's not been boring! Hopefully this breeds the fans out who feel a need to support another team? If like my sons school most of them support & go to city? And they're at the age were they can turn around to their Liverpool etc supporting dads and say F'k off
Rhodes is coming in for a lot of stick on "owlstalk/owls line" he refuse to be one of the penalty taker's because he was not confident enough and its been confirmed by the manager .
Not as much as he's getting now in the local rag and on there forums, don't think it was just last night, would appear that he's been a bit of a disappointment on the pitch since his arrival and last night capped it for them.
They've got to pay £10m for him at the end of the season and he's a striker not willing to take a penalty? He'd get more than a little **** from us in those circumstances.
They had an ex pro commentating on the match. He said sometimes the pressure gets to players and to stand up and say you're not confident - that's the bigger man in my eyes. Clearly everyone who took a penalty volunteered. We wouldn't be having this discussion if Wednesday had made the final with or without a penalty from Rhodes. As it stands Ward made two excellent saves from the penalty takers. Nothing you can do about a bang on form keeper.
I thought after watching both games that Fulham and Huddersfield were the better teams, Reading defended very well which got them through
