Manchester Apollo, 87 I think - would've been about 17 and was totally intimidated by all these old school punks with mohawks at the front continually spitting at Jon Lydon - the stage was just swimming in phlegm, **** knows how he put up with it!
Saw them when I was just 15.....always thought Kirk had a great voice.... Didn't get to see them in their early days, but managed to get down to Wembley last year to see them.
Correct - never did get to see them.....all yours Sooper In June 85 saw U2, REM, Ramones, Spear of Destiny and Billy Bragg, along with 999s pals band (RIP), Faith Brothers at MK Bowl - a fantastic line-up.
