Seems like they've had a substantial clearout and a change of the whole board, pretty much. Both players will probably have to drop back down to non-league for a contract now, though they'll probably get one.
We all knew it was serious, but anyone else read Ryan Masons interview about his head injury in the Fail today?? Frightening!! So glad he has seemingly got through it physically, although psychologically getting back playing will be one helluva challenge. Wish him well
Cahill made another late header last night and it made me instantly think of Mason. Imagine what it's going to be like when he goes up for his first few... Good luck to him on his recovery. He always put in a big effort for us and it'll be good to see him back.
Fredericks, Parker, Button (Fulham) Gunter (Reading) Archer, Butcher (Millwall) Archibald- Henville (Exeter) Lots of ex-Spurs in the playoffs. Probably more I've missed
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/kevi...m-valencia-extends-with-las-palmas-until-2020 Still weird that Las Palmas play in La Liga, honestly. Imagine an away trip to Gibraltar or something. Falkland Isles FC, anyone?
There are rumours in today's football media linking Roberto Soldado to Trabzonspor. Unfortunately, it's not the first time that Roberto has been featured in stories with a Turkey theme. Anyone, apart from Leicester want stuffing?
Try not to scuff up our pitch too much! ...it then dawns on us all that, between England matches, cup finals and playoff finals, we'll be spending as much time next season worrying about the state of the pitch as we will about injuries.
West Ham ****ed it up again by offering him half the wage and no signing on fee, no doubt. Next target Griezman?
For £130k pw and a 3 year deal?! That Russian money's got to go somewhere, I guess. Already has a record or two for them, doesn't he? Terry up next? I wonder what Josh King makes of this?
It's definitely a weird signing but they've had some dreadful luck with injuries to their other strikers so he'd be a useful option from the bench. Come to think of it, King might actually be an excellent foil for Defoe. My only concern is, without Wilshere in the side, they will have to cope with vastly reduced service. Such a shame.
Wilson's injuries really hampered them last season. I thought Afobe would step up and push on, but he hasn't really progressed that much. Must be the Arsenal thing... I wonder where Wilshere will end up? MLS? China? Jail? Could be anywhere, really.
I posted a thread about it on the Arsenal board and was quite surprised at how many of them couldn't give a toss about what happens to him. Talk about a fall from grace...
I thought he looked a very ordinary player for Bournemouth. His days as a PL player must surely be numbered, he's never going to be a regular at Arsenal again and his fitness levels are crap.
