Pearce: Virgil van Dijk remains Liverpool’s No 1 defensive target this summer – despite reports linking them with a £25million move for Burnley’s Michael Keane. Napoli’s Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly has also been heavily scouted by Liverpool this season and is viewed in a similar class to Van Dijk. Former Manchester United defender Keane is on the Reds’ radar after a fine campaign for the Clarets, but isn’t viewed as a priority.
All is going to be clearer when the transfer window opens on 1st July especcially about Virgil van Dijk. At the moment top four is the priority.
Being reported in the Spanish press that Coutinho has agreed a move to Barca for £76m, the £76m is apparently what LFC have said is the minimum they will accept.
They mention Couts and this story on RMTV today (see above)..............its basically seen as a load of bollox
Not consistent enough..would be a bench player for them...but then he's got mates there. Ah well...no release clause, long contract we can name our price...
