Liverpool have been given the opportunity to hijack Real Madrid's move for Theo Hernandez. According to Marca , the Reds are one of the teams that Atletico Madrid have offered the young defender to as they seek a £25million pay day.
My phone app has just buzzed me to say we have agreed personal terms with Keane from Burnley - has anyone else heard this ?
Liverpool close in on £25m swoop: Personal terms agreed, one condition remaining - reports LIVERPOOL have reportedly agreed personal terms with Burnley star Michael Keane ahead of a £25m swoop this summer. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...-News-Burnley-Michael-Keane-Everton-Tottenham
£25m for an average CB, well it does sound like us. I don't think VVD would be interested in coming here with the money he can get elsewhere
Keane is far from average, he's quality. I watched him closely at Goodison recently as we'd been heavily linked, very impressive.
Apparently we've "named our price" to Barca for Coutinho. 90m euros .despite them not actually making any overtures like...
Keane is a talented defender but the issue is that he's used to playing in a deep and compact back line which is the polar opposite to how we set up. We need defenders who can play and cover lots of space, excellent in 1v1 and quick. Keane could do those things but we don't know yet.
Seeing as we will be selling Sakho for £20-25m, Keane's price makes more sense than a move for VVD. Its essentially no net spend again.
yeah story this morning was keane no 1 target but vvd was target so it was pure press covering their arses stuff. Theres nobody agreeing a fee until their are all off on hols. Klopp doesn't need it. Burnely don't need it in 2 pressers The windows is not open for registrations etc etc
Ffs can no one give me a straight answer Tobes is saying no way - everyone else saying maybe I don't have a clue App is reds live?
ahem 30+ mil thanks. you can't buy a left leg for 20mil these days I think the point ought to be LAST YEAR pre brexit there was more than 30% greater value in the european market place. This year... not so much. whether it will rebalance fully i don't know but in footballing terms the home value is a bit better than comparing to european market.
Didn't seem very impressive when lukaku turned him with ease to score. He might be decent defender, but he's going from a super defensive Burnley team to an attacking Liverpool one where he'll be left exposed in 1v1 situations a lot more. Can he deal with that remains to be seen.
If its not on the echo, sky and bbc by now its balls. they all jump all over anything to act like they knew all along.
Imo. Doesnt look an athlete. Has no experience playing different systems than a rather deep lying hard to break system a lot of cbs might look good in. As in 442. Was let go by utd If i add that up... **** no way im sinking 25mil plus into that.
Because of low budget Klopp may think that Michael Keane fits the bill and that he can be nurtured to be a top defender.
