To be fair I actually felt optimistic after the first 2 matches of this season.....

I can find no words to describe that "performance".
The highlights of the day were having chats with Dave Thomas & Rod. Plus getting off the train when it reached Ipswich!

Just got home after the highlights of the day being meeting terryb & son in the ground and a few beers with my boys after what can only be described as an absolute embarrassment. That was without doubt one of the worst "performances" I have been unfortunate enough to witness. God only know what positives we can carry forward to next season from that debacle.
And another thing,
I can't believe the players had the balls to come over and applaud the Rs fans at the end after producing that utter crap. They should have scurried off down the tunnel and hid in the changing room.

Good, should be a perfect fit with senior management & owners.
To be fair they can't win on that. If they did that people would say "the least they could do is acknowledge us". Although I was a bit bemused I must admit.

Pleased to say that I missed that. The moment the whistle went I couldn't get out fast enough!
I don't know about anyone else, but I thought today was every bit as bad as Brentford at home. The match that ended the reign of JFH.
I didn't go to Brentford so can't compare but we were second best today. I thought the scoreline flattered them a bit however and I had brief hope when we started the second half quite strongly. Their second was actually against the run of play but effectively ended the game.
I meant when we were at home to Brentford. Today was far worse that the visit to Griffin Park.
I thought we could have been 3 down in the first 15 minutes as Perch was ripped several new ones every time they came down our right. I we did look a little better at the start of the second half but it didn't last long.
Anyone checked on Rangercol?

An incredibly disappointing end to the season, and one that was arguably avoidable. Instead of capitalising on a good run of results from 18th Feb (starting with a 4-1 away win at Birmingham) and ending on March 18th (with a 5-1 home win against Rotherham), we completely capitulate and ruin morale among supporters and presumably players alike. We were top of the league form table during this period!
Holloway has stated on record that he doesn't want his teams to be predictable. Everyone knows how Chelsea play....they'll win the Premier League. Brighton have never strayed from a basic 4-4-2...they've been promoted from our division. Some continuity and consistency of selection doesn't hinder too much does it Ollie?
Settle on 2 formations the team is comfortable with. And plan your transfer activity around players who will suit this style of play. We need to get the big decisions correct otherwise we'll be in real trouble next season.

I can only find one positive after Holloway's reign so far. And that is Ryan Manning, he's an asset now. Under JFH he would have probably been released this summer.
Apart from that I feel Holloway has made it harder for himself than needed to be. After the great run we went on and he actually hit the spot with his tactics, it seems like it went to his head and after that he totally lost the plot. IF, and its a big if, he can learn from what has worked and more importantly what hasn't worked then there is hope. Albeit a very slim one.

What??!!? Just woken up after a long flight to see this result. Did Norwich have more to play for than us or something? Horrible.
Because of our shocking goal difference we were just two points off being relegated. Bollockings all round I hope.
Now for our traditional brilliantly organised preseason, where we go on tour and half the games are cancelled, nobody wants to buy Caulker, we buy and sell a few players making no discernible difference, all leading up to Ollie being sacked in November, with someone else that none of us really wants taking over. Sometimes predictability is comforting.
