It has been a poor year for the NE football wise, but hats off to the Mags for bucking the trend, lets see SAFC and the Boro do the same next season, and get all three clubs into the Premiership, now that would be an achievement worth celebrating. Nil Desperandum.
Excuse me, but we sold £80m pounds worth of players as well. We made a decent profit. Or is that not allowed?
Aye something like that Brian. It had to be soldered back on. Mackemwelder, did you do this repair job?
Mentioned nothing about you mugging Spurs off for Sissoko. Congrats for that. You still bought the Championship title.
No we didn't. We had the least spend in the division. We sold a lot more players than we bought. Check it out.

Going off the above figures we actually bought second place.
I'm well aware of your net spend. You spent a **** load on very average players to win the league and scraped over the line.
But that's not what you said. You insinuated we bought the league. We didn't. Perhaps we should just quote what we spent and keep our sales figures in a cupboard under the stairs? Scraped over the line? you reckon you'll scrape over the line with Ellis there?
If you look at net spend for this season we actually bought bottom place which would suggest we have done slightly better than expected. http://www.birmingham.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=454795
Everyones gone to bed. When you smug buggers stop gloating, switch the lights off and we'll see you tomorrow
Only have to go back a couple of years more and we both have 2 relegations which makes your stat seem far less important. You can massage statistics for your own agenda. Both teams however have not been pulling up any trees, hopefully that will change though. I'm not even taking the piss, I think you will come good under Moyes, what he did at Everyone couldn't have been a fluke and his record at Manchester united wasn't that bad. Man U aren't exactly competing for the league now either. Hopefully Rafa and Moyes make both teams more than premiership relegation candidates
**** me, you jawdeeeees always need leading by the hand. Find the door, it's usually on the opening side about 5 feet up G'night mate and congrats.
I didn't state the time line. It was one of your own who set the agenda and timeline, I just reponded. Joking aside, we've got a slow build ahead of us. It won't be quick enough for a lot of fans and certainly I don't think many will accept it may get worse before it gets better but if that's the way it has to be then that the way it has to be. I'll be happy finishing Midtable with a better control of our debt next season. I'm grounded, seen all this coming years ago.
Just got back from the toon, big up to the gay Sunderland supporter who was walking around with his Sunderland shirt and scarf shouting I don't give a ****. He's probably in the Tyne now.
