She appeared at a Soul & Dance weekender in Minehead. Not really my cup of tea but she had a powerful set of lungs on her and got the whole crowd singing along.
They split up not long after I first started getting into their music but they re-formed and I had the pleasure of seeing them, not ashamed to say there was a small tear shed at that gig, it was very emotional.
BOOM! Nirvana were headlining the Reading Rock Festival at the peak of their fame but I could not be ars*d and stayed by the camp fire having a laugh. Je ne regret nish. Rolling Stones - saw them at Wembley thinking they'd all be dead soon, that was 30 years ago Chuck Berry - for the same reason as the Stones but he only turned his toes up this year Showaddywaddy - at a TT biker festival on the Isle of Man Status Quo - Reading Festival Kool & The Gang - Hammersmith Odeon but rather disappointingly without usual frontman JT Taylor Well done Steels, back to you.
