Cheers GLP, much appreciated.

All done Ben - Best of luck. I worked for a company in the South West a few years ago and the fella I worked with his lad collapsed and died aged 13 from sudden cardiac arrest. Still see him from time to time and there really aren't the words. Great cause and you'll totally nail it.

All good stuff Ben:emoticon-0100-smile
Just don't do your training half way up Mt Teidi if you jump over to Tenerife. About 30 years ago my car got stuck half way up the volcano - it was knackered !

Chaps & Chapesses

After some much publicised recent health problems I've signed up for the Hull 10k, taking place on Father's Day, in June. I aim to complete it via a mixture of walk, run & wobble.

I've been taking training seriously, as you can imagine, & have even arranged some warm weather training in Gran Canaria for next week.

In order to keep me enthused, focused & motivated I've been raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) via my Just Giving page. It's a charity close to my heart & one that has been embraced previously by the Hull City family after the Josh Fell tragedy a few years ago. CRY are an excellent charity that helps young people & their families deal with all cardiac conditions. They reduce the number of sudden cardiac deaths, support young people with life threatening cardiac conditions, fund screening programmes & medical research as well as offering bereavement support to families.

If you would like to help motivate me you can do so by making a donation using the link below. If you're not able to make a donation please feel free to feed my enthusiasm with cake & beer.

Thanks for reading, any donations given & any kind advice that I'm sure you'd like to give.

****s sake you twat.

You're about 2 stone heavier than me, and doing something I keep thinking I should do (go running to lose some weight) but I get over it while munching on a magnum.

I also have a rule about not falling for these requests online, as I tend to donate to very local charities and causes.

But all things considered, you better finish or I want my tenner back. You've actually managed to make me feel bad about myself. I mean, if you can do this, surely to ****ing goodness I could too?

My top tip is get a hat with a stick coming out of the top and dangling a choccy bar on the end about 2 feet from your face. You won't even notice you're running.

Love you Happy (in a non-gaylord way obvs). Thank you!
