I'm here nowLooks like they've underestimated how popular this street food thing would be, two hours into a five hour event and several have run out of food.
Even the actual cafe has run out of food
Oh and most places are running very low on beer too!!!

All pubs quoting hour wait for food. Lots of unhappy people about. Just ribs and bones left on everyone

True. There has always been a perception amongst the powers that be in Hull that "our people" want the lowest common denominator.
Never found waiting an hour for food in a pub a problem as long as the beer is served quickly.
Got there at 6.15. Queues everywhere but not much left in the way of food. Not much organisation and not as many food stalls as I expected. Ended up in Papas!
I was ok for booze
There was still a nice hand pull porter (4.2% mutiny) available. However the lager and cider crowd were sadly out of options (Mrs Tash just stuck some black currant in her porter and got on with it)
Disaster food wise though
Askews is missing in action...I think he's just got back from a 3 week US road trip but I haven't seen him so he could well have added Guantanamo to his journey!

We had a ten minute queue for beer when we got there at half six
Had a few, gave up on food, and I'm already back in Anlaby for beer and tapas

Turned up and thought **** that. Walked back home.
