DD has gone all Yank ice hockey. I do not believe that a goal tender would be any good, those pads and protective accroutrements would hinder movement in the box, And they probably wear a box.

Afobe has hardly turned out to be the miracle striker we were looking for. Pretty expensive for an impact sub methinks, but then they paid us £7m to take Grabban back!

It's going to be interesting if Dijks can be persuaded to stay as well and means 'Arry would probably better off going on loan again somewhere.

Interesting, JMF, but if SW is able to convince Dijks to stay on, I can't see us paying around £4m for each of them. If Toffolo is not deemed ready, then I'd think we'd go for a younger and cheaper option behind Dijks.
Dijks can play centre back as well cant he? It would be an interesting proposition if we got both. I'd like to see what he could do at CB. He could play left side allowing Klose to finally play in his more comfortable RCB position.

Striker.............Jerome keeps doing it at this level, Olivera has been decent. hsn't been good enough. Need a strike force of 3-4. So another 1 first team striker, or a first teamer and an up and coming.
Worrying to look at. So much sh*t to try and sell, so many positions to fill. (that's without losing players I'd want us to keep!)
We haven't filled 1 or 2 key positions for about 5 seasons. We now have to buy the bulk of a team.
