One of my favourite games/ days of the season.

Magical goals capped with glorious sun both before and after the game, though truth be told, it was our Son that was even more glorious (phwoaar, what a bit a cheese, DH! <laugh>).

Every one of our goals were top drawer, Alli's pearler really help crack Watford open as it was obvious they were coming here to contain. Dier's bullet was so deserving of the season he's had, he usually grabs a couple of goals and after his first at Burnley last weekend I was buzzing for him to add another this one. Son's first made us all laugh, when he picked up the ball from Eriksen, all of us in Park Lane were shouting "Davies! Give it to Davies!" and then he goes and smashes that rasper making us all look like clueless ****s <laugh>. The fourth was just typical Trippier - and what a game he had - lovely cross (again!) and a great finish by Sonny, who's another that's having a great season. I'm happily going to stroke my ego by saying again that Son is/ was definitely capable of stepping up in Harry's absence, add to the form of Alli and we somewhat made it look easy without our talismanic striker, I wonder who else can say that?

Trippier or Son for MOTM to me. Only down point on the game was Janssen's misses, the turn and shot can be forgiven as Gomes has always been a decent shot stopper but the open goal from Trippier's cross just summed up his season, he worked hard again but as a striker he needs to be burying that.

Had a load of celebratory beers afterwards while soaking up the sun. You really don't get many better days than seeing your team win 4-0 and then spending the rest of the day with your mates in a beer garden catching rays.

The big difference for Spurs recently has been the ability to score goals easily without Kane.
Last season, they were so many games when the attack was toothless in this situation - and the stats proved it.
Three players with 11+ PL goals, all among the top goalscorers.
 
Does us a favour Spurs.... beat Chelsea by all means but leave something in the tank to beat Palace on the Wednesday after ....

I think a lot depends on the result in the semi final. If we win, the palace game could well have an 'after the lord mayor's show' feel to it. If we lose, it will spur us on to push them all the way in the league.

Either way, I hope we beat them as I'd rather Hull Hotspurs and Swansea Spurs stay up and the third relegation spot be given to West Ham.

We don't want our siblings (Swan/Wat/Hull spurs) to be relegated.

But the Hullspurs side of the bargain must be to have avoided relegation
before the last game of the season (in case you must lose the game so that
Spurs secure whatever they need to) .

Utd can't have done after he helped MK Dons knock them out of the League Cup. And pool decided he was overpriced at £5m (or so)
