The reason why it was given was because the linesman thought this occurred, you're correct. Unfortunately for the linesman that's not what happened.

The linesman needs to pay more attention. Given his line of vision, there's no way he can award anything other than off side to De Roon - It's 2 yards at least. Piss poor officials again.

    Hi.
My first time around. Portuguese supporter (since Marco is at the helm) here.
Been suffering with you, but very confident since the beginning.
Very much convinced that Hull is gonna stay up.
Today's exhibition rounds up the best moment(um) of the season. Excellent match to watch. Good football and a terrible decision from the ref.
Clucas played excellent football. He promises to be an influential player in the forthcoming season with potential to get called to the England squad. He's very complete and he's getting better and better at a very high and consistent tempo.
Maguire is already a sure thing. Another brilliant display from him. What a player.
Niasse scoring again. He gets so much involved with the game that he manages to compensate some lack of skill and composure.
Marko he's getting better with every match and Groz is just missing a goal, but he's almost there.
Robertson very well against one of the toughest and challenging opponents he'll come across for the remaining of the season. Very accomplished game against a very serious and constant contender attacking as well as defending.
Since Evandro got involved, city controlled the match. Wouldn't be surprised to see him start next match.
He gives exactly what has been missing in the last 4 or 5 matches: Bind

Welcome to our board. I am astonished by what Silva has achieved in his short time with us, it is beyond incredible. He has given us hope, which seemed impossible before he came to us. He's working miracles!!!

Evandro was indeed incredibly classy when he came on, his passing and tempo was brilliant.

Clucas was huge in midfield, absolutely a star of our side and arguably up there for player of the season discussion.

I'd give Maguire and Abel a rest against Man Citeh and make sure they're 100% for Stoke - great to finally see some decent football again for the last few weeks after the turgid **** we've had to put up with for the last 2 or 3 seasons - well done Marco for bringing in some decent signings - can't say any have been a failure so far

Yep, easy decision with Evandro fit - start Niasse with Evandro behind him, sub Henriksen on late for whichever tires. Dawson can start for Maguire.

Only concern is if Hernandez has done his groin so fingers crossed.

Some massive positives for us tonight apart from the performance of everyone:

    - 3 attacking players scored (when was the last time that happened?)
    - 2 main strikers involved in first 2 goals, Hernandez obviously in first 3 goals - reinforces the fact that we need them both to start every game possible imo
    - return of Evandro
    - competition for places, Ella, Davies, Hudd, Mason all missing
    - 4 goals scored, some great football

    Now for the down side:

we really really really really need to sign Marco, Markovic, Rannochia, Niasse and N'Diaye for next season and hold on to Robbo, Harry and Sam.

If we're having this issue in the summer I'll be rather happy so don't see that as too much of a down side! :D

Absolutely you're right. I am looking far too ahead I know, I just like this team and the balance and fear it could be destroyed very quickly.

If we stay up I think Silva stays another 6 months at the very minimum, and have confidence he'll put a good team together.

It came off the back of his shoulder, lino could'nt see that from the f**cking half way line (lazy twat) but ref should have done!..hope the officials watch highlights like we all do & give a bit or a lot more honest decisions our way in the next few games...we may need them, great performance from a team that looked & played like they wanted it as much as we did sat/stood in the stadium...P.S. looked a lot more in then 20k!

As for other teams, I wouldn't discard West Ham or Palace going down for Swansea. Llorente's injury might have made their fate, but I still regard Clemence better than Sam and low confidence is just a huge cloud over west ham.

Curious to see Hull play with the same formation as Chelsea with a back 3 with Robertson (playing Azpilicueta) Maguire (DL) and Ranochia (GC).
Of course it's not the moment to try, but still curious

What aspect of Chelsea's formation are you referring to? We started with a back 3 in pretty much that formation against West Ham.

Unless you mean the 3-4-3 they use rather than a 3-5-2?

Fair enough. You picked out three players who did play that role on the weekend though which was where my confusion came from. :p

Would be interesting having Niasse up top with Markovic and Grosicki flanking him.

with Clucas N'D Hudd Evandro in mid and the trio you quoted upfront

About the back 3, what I like is blending 2 big CB with the mobility and agility of a fast LB

Oh I see what you're saying. Hm, I don't know if I'd trust Robertson in a back three.
