Arsenal were were 7 points ahead of us after game 15 and were 1 point behind us 5 games later.
They are now 11 behind us but have a game in hand so if they win that it'll put them 8 points behind us with 9 games left.
If we can get an eight point swing in 5 games they can get an eight point swing in 9 games.
They top 4 is not secure for anyone bar Chelsea.

As opposed to having no money and slumming it for 55 years.....tough call. <laugh>

I was still working in the City at that time. We knew what was going on. Abramovich was smart enough to get his money out of Russia before Putin took it off him. In the end he had to sell Sibneft back to Putin - who was getting very pissed off with him - probably to avoid a nasty 'accident'

Good move by Roman....no one wants a poison umbrella up their jax.

Somebody on our board wrote that Chelsea and Donald Trump were alike - both winning, but only with the help of Russian money!..
Nice ...

Daniel Sturridge should leave Liverpool according to former defender Jamie Carragher.
Sturridge, 27, has appeared just three times in the league since the turn of the league and appears to have slipped down manager Jurgen Klopp's pecking order.
"It might be better for everyone if he moves on and tries to rejuvenate his career because he had a brilliant start to his Liverpool career," Carragher told Newsweek.
"Him and [Luis] Suarez were devastating. But it just seems to have tailed off now.”
“If you’re going to play week in week out, it may have to be a level down, but he certainly has the quality to play for Tottenham, there’s no doubt about that."

Carragher is an uber bell-end of the highest order.

How bitter can a man be?

I'm surprised they could understand one ****ing word he says. Sky ought to provide an interpreter.

Assuming he takes the pay cut his non-performances at the Poool since
2014 dictate, the remaining question is :

Does Carragher think Sturridge could score more goals for Spurs than he did ??

Sturridge is a decent footballer with some flair but is greedy & selfish, not a team player and well short of the mystique that has surrounded his performances for previous clubs.

I've always rated him as a striker. His two major faults are, as you say, stupid greediness at times, and worst of all is his injury record.

For the latter reason alone I'd only be interested if he was going silly cheap - which he won't be.
