Arsenal getting a new manager in could see them competitive again or could see them slump like a post Fergie United.

Personally I don't think it's worth the risk. Wenger should stay and keep Arsenal at the level they are, annually disappointing the gooners in around February year after year ;)
This^

So, going back to the question you keep avoiding. How do you suppose Wenger 'fluked' the title that season, seeing as Arsenal didn't lose a single league game ?

I refer you to an answer that I made a couple of days ago, Pix...

We've been through all of this, Pix. The debate was last night, and what emerged is that you could not deny that Wenger's success came early on in his career, shortly after taking over from Graham, and that as time has gone by Wenger's success has dried up.
We debated the possible explanation for this happening; I took the view that it was because of the waning effect of Graham's influence on the club, and the ever-increasing reliance on Wenger's airy-fairy tippy-tappy football, and you took an opposing view. The usual stalemate was, therefore, reached.
I don't see that there is much more for you and I to debate, since we are merely going to go over the same old ground.
Others, of course, might care to throw in their thoughts on the subject. But, that's up to them, Pix.

You misunderstand Gimp you are a massive Uber bell end now as before bankrupt of any decency, honour and credibility. Other than your usual two or three clinkers no one sees you as either articulated or a person with insight. Do us all a favour and choose JA606 you'll love it its full of arseholes just like you and you surely won't be missed. <ok>

Don't thank me.
<laugh> nope, no one sees him as articulated, not being a lorry and all.
If these are the qualities you admire, perhaps you could remind us of where you've displayed any dignity or honour. On credibility, we'll decide that one. Computer says No.

You still here? The Gobbling thread is on the Spud desert Gobbles quickly now go get your hot drink.

And that answer did nothing to address my question.

You claim that Graham should be credited with the title that the invincibles won, so how did you come to that conclusion seeing as he had left the club 8 years earlier, signed none of the starting players in that team and had his methods completely revolutionised by Wenger ?

Norris and McKenna were quite a pair piskie , I think Norris got him into a nice house too. Norris is what every community needs , an MP that jumps into bed with a game fixer . Wasn't Norris an MP when he slithered Arsenal into the top flight ?

<yikes>
I cannot believe that you have made a sexist slur against the parents of someone with mental health issues!

I suspected that analogy would orbit over your head, so let me explain.

It describes the infinite futility of ifs and buts. If his mother had a dick, she would have been his father. Clearly that 'if' renders the whole concept defunct, as his mother, physiologically would not be his mother if she was male with a dick.

Do you see how the concept works ? By supplanting an 'if' into the context you can come up with virtually anything, regardless of how far it reflects the reality of the situation.

It's a bit like saying 'If you had any knowledge of football, people might have some respect for you' <ok>

Ouch!

The 'Spud desert' is very active mate, while after a quick glance at the hot bed of inspired thinking that is the Chelsea board, shows a massive 9 posts by all comers since last Monday.:emoticon-0136-giggl

You still banging on about this!

What's it been now? Three days?

I tell you what, Pix... post me a smillie icon to show me that I don't have you rattled.

Three days of you not being able to back up the claim you made. Would you like to back out of it now ?

I cannot believe that you are trying to defend what you wrote!

Matth has certain issues that have been well-publicised on this board, and yet you go diving in with the suggestion that his mother has a penis! What part of your brain thought that that kind of **** isn't going to **** with Matth's already dysfunctional mind?

I thought it would go over your head, that's why I attempted to explain it to you. I see that's orbited way over your empty noggin too <laugh>
