I don't think he's any better than Pav to be honest, if Pav played in the teams he's played in Pav would've scored the same amount of goals, JD would've scored more.

And yes, the headslap was for my 'bloody stupid' comment (which was of course in jest)
 
Why would you hate him for making a decision that you may well have made yourself in that position, if you weren't a Spurs fan?
He was offered the chance to go to Real Madrid and play under Jose Mourinho.
Not many players would turn that down.
 
I was responding to the that makes perfect sense part of PNPs comment, presuming it to be sarcasm.

This would therefore allude that my hating AnyBuyer for doing something that I understood a 'nonsense' as in it makes no sense.

From this, I would say that to hate somebody for something I understand them doing is not that much of a nonsense, from my viewpoint, although it may be perceived as a nonsense by the person or others viewing the situation from an alternative perspective.

Therefore, my own opinion is not that much of a nonsense, as it is my sense that that has shaped the view - BUT it is not completely not a nonsense because a viewpoint can never truly be appreciated as no other person has had the same experiences which has shaped my senses into coming to this conclusion.

And so, I give you my view is not that nonsensical.

I said I understood it, doesn't mean I can't hate him for it.

I understand why RSol left us for L'Arse, but still hate his ****ing guts.
 
Judas was utterly dishonest, deceitful and manipulative, though.
Even leaving aside the total lack of regard for the people at the club that put him in the position to be able to make that choice, he constantly lied about what he was going to do.
His behaviour is scornful, whereas I fail to see what Adebayor did wrong.

This calibre of striker on loan to assist us finishing where we want this season makes sense, in case you hadn't noticed we've been trying to buy strikers for months...they don't want to come here.
 
BUT I can understand why he did it, a big fat signing on fee, 30 great big pieces of silver lining his pockets and a chance to play in a team that at the time was more likely to win things.

See I know RSol is a complete c*nt, and I truly hate him, but I do understand.
 
But I don't hate him for trying to make more money and win trophies.
I hate him because he's a dishonest, deceitful twat, who cries about being called a dishonest, deceitful twat.
He also had the choice of a number of other clubs, yet signed for the only one that would truly offend Spurs fans.

Adebayor could've come to Spurs on loan, but choose to go to Real Madrid.

My thoughts exactly.

Sol said repeatedly he wanted to stay at Spurs when all the time he knew he was going to leave. If he had come out and said he wasn't going to sign a new contract then he wouldn't be hated half as much.

Fans appreciate honesty.
 
Setting aside his presumably massive wages and injury problems, why wouldn't we want van Persie?
He's a bit quick to go to ground, but that's something that could be worked on.

He's not much of a hate figure, really.
