I was with my nephews girl ( great niece)
And her friend . our 10th away game this season

Managed to get there two male friends on on way back by telling driver and person counter they were my two sons as miserable twat wasnt going to let them on even though there was plenty of room.

The noisey mob on second to back seats.

I was quiet though as usual

:)

Couldnt persuade driver to drop me off in Filey before going to stadium

yeah if room on bus don't see a problem some of the stewards on the coach are generally quite ok

After both playoff wins, TT was like a ****ing morgue. You'd have thought we'd got beat ffs. Full of right miserable bastards!

The longer journeys are always like that. Think people are pretty knackered from the long day and just chill out on the way back regardless of result.

It looks like we're not going to have to worry about booking many coaches in the short term.

We had trouble selling out the Everton allocation, we expect trouble selling out the 1,500-odd Stoke allocation (despite it being one of the cheapest games) and we've only taken 1,500 for Man City as well.

The Silva effect doesn't seem to have lasted long.

Symptom of the malaise I'm afraid.

Why not offer free coach travel to these games? Can't we afford it?
Or do we have owners who resent people travelling for nowt, and don't see why they should subsidise supporters?
Maybe they ought to do as Stoke themselves do and offer free travel to all away games, at least we can collectively say we gave it a go.
It's depressing that our greatest ever era in 113 years should see our support shrink. You would think that some clever businessmen could soon remedy that: premium product, no local competition, unprecedented publicity etc...but no, we have two hostile monkeys who will not let anyone else play with their ball.
Alas the public have spoken.

Not going to Man city but expecting to go to Stoke as that is , on paper , the more chance of getting points. Are we saying the plastic types will be tempted by moneybags Hunter FC .

Bang on the money CG - Bristol, Burnley, Stoke (hopefully), Everton, WBA, Leicester, S'land, M'boro are my away days this season. Did a lot of the glory grounds in '08/09 and all of them in '13/14, I'm now getting to the stage where the PL matchday experience, especially the glory fixtures, leaves me cold. A quote from BCC two or three seasons back sums it up perfectly for me i.e. ''there's no joy in it anymore'' ...... it's an age thing!
