"We believe that the Royal Blue of our beloved Everton Football Club is far superior to the red of those we don't wish to talk about.Red is for people who support canniblism and kicking people in the head.Blue is classy."

What the **** is that monstrosity??

    <laugh> <laugh>

Blue must also be for people who don't have a space bar on their keyboard.

It's always amusing to me when TV supporters completely misunderstand the traditions and rivalry and end up making their own club look idiotic in the process.

Sometime last season he was consistent for about a month then reverted to type. He's still not good enough in my book, sorry.

So if you have 10 shots on target but only score 1 goal how does that work <laugh>

What, you mean the keeper blocked them, surely they wouldn't count as on target then

No, keeper saved them, but if a shot is blocked half a yard from leaving the attackers foot, you've got no idea if that's on target or not.

"Goalkeepers" make "saves" to prevent a "goal" when a "shot" is "on target" <ok>

So if the ball has beat the keeper but a player behind him blocks it is it on target or not?

oh i know why it was just the total gloom & despondency was getting on my tits.
Having said that me & the wife agreed some weeks ago to drink less and a maximum of 1 bottle of red between us per night. She wasn't happy when she realised i had polished off 3/4 bottle by half time.
Thought that for much of the game that was our worst performance of the season with only Migs coming out of it with much credit.By the same token it makes a welcome chage to ply poorly and win.

    Nope.

    Shot on target
    Any goal attempt that:
    a) Goes into the net
    b) Would have gone into the net but for being stopped by a goalkeeper's save
    c) Would have gone into the net but for being stopped by a defender who is the last man.
