You used to be able to here, but there was a load of agro over some clubs allowing it and others not, so they made a blanket rule that no loan player could play against his parent club.
Yeah it was the choice of the parent club, but as Everton treat Omar like **** and them seeing the form he's in here, there's no way they'd have allowed him to play anyway. He'd have scored a hatful.
