If City have a very very good run in, say W9 D2 L1, they will finish on 84 points.

That means Chelsea would need to W6 and D1 (L4) to finish on 85 points.

Tottenham Bottlers would have to win 10 out of 11... pretty unlikely.

How many points do you think will be needed to win league this season?

We've seen how effective the mini league participants have been in Europe this year with Chelsea taking a gap year. On the whole baring Leicester they have all been shocking.

I think we'll get 2,700 points this season, so 2,701 will get you the title this year.

Personally I'm thrilled that Liverpool look like winning the mini-league ... it's good to see the FA embracing diversity and having a competition exclusively aimed at small effeminate players ... how do you score points? ... amount of hair product? extent of shaven man hair? ..

Meanwhile, I think Chelsea will win the title, thereby continuing the recent dynasty of Champions in royal blue shirts ... <whistle>

Top 6 head to head only.

Liverpool are top with 19 points iirc.

Hopefully we'll carry on this fine form and win the league from here.

Oh yes ... just not the Premier League unfortunately ...

... is there a European competition to follow? ... do you get to play the winners of the Luxembourg Llama Lasooing League at charades? ... just imagine the new flags on the kop next season ....<laugh>

The top 6 league is better than the PL as it's not padded out with ****e.

Many people are calling it 'The New PL'. Unfortunately you don't seem very keen on the ultimate PL team mini league. I wonder why?!

Bloody hell. Poor sod.

Pray for Roberto

At the moment, if Chelsea win all their remaining games, we would finish on 99 points, smashing our own record of highest points tally in the league, which is currently our 2004/2005 team's score of 95.

I think we will lose at least one more game before seasons end, and draw another couple, so i am going to go with 92 points being the winning total
