Point is we are a more attractive proposition now than 9 years ago. Everyone sells when then player is unhappy - Van Persie, Fabregas etc. I understand why Sheringham, Berbatov and Carrick chose to leave, it would be less clear cut for them today.

Spurs are no different from most other clubs, they buy and sell players, end of... The only difference is that Levy seems to be able to command top dollar when he sells.

I dislike Spurs massively (mainly since they did ok for one year in the CL and now their fans have got all delusional, thinking they're a big club )... But Kane is proving most people wrong (me included). The stuck up little prick seems to be getting better by the day.
