  4. Spurs could lose Alli's fellow England international Eric Dier, with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho planning a £35m bid for the 23-year-old defensive midfielder. (Sun)

Why is that a wum ? Mourinho is bound to demand wads of cash for a spending spree in the summer and you know that he'll be trying to raid Spurs for at least one of their players.

You know as well as I do that Levy won't agree to sell to a Prem rival. In the highly unlikely event that he was forced to, you can bet the buyer will be leaving his bollocks on the table after Levy has ripped them off!

That was nine years ago, not today. And Utd had to pay over £30 mill to get him. A massive fee at that time.

Irrespective of time and money he was sold to a rival although nine years ago you didn't have any.....
    Well maybe West Ham.

Of course time is a vital part of the perspective. Nine years ago we could only loosely claim Utd as a rival. Today they most definitely are.

Only because red nose retired and the employed two muppets who didnt understand the game nor the club. Now they have Jose who is turning it around especially when he cuts more deadwood and spends upward of £300 million you will no longer have that rival tag. <ok>

We'll see. But right now, they're definitely a rival. As are all top six or seven in the Prem.

United turned his head and offered 29 million, City wanted him too so Levy offered him to City for 27million...United had to pay 34 Mill in the end. Fergie said that was the worst transfer negotiation he had been involved in because Levy is no push over. I'll take Fergie's word for it.

How's Modric doing in your midfield? Sold him for less to Madrid than Chelsea offered <laugh> good luck to the wishful thinkers <ok>

A 10 point gap doesn't make you a rival but then of course you can dream.

We had an uncharacteristic bad season where we finished 10th but we are back doing the business as you can see.

We shared the points last season and this. So, we're rivals for sure.

If 10 points means rivals in your world then I'm happy for you.
