Really don't think £8mill on Bendtner would be money well spent. I don't know what the realistic alternative is though, Graham Carr will have the answer!!!

Well I should hope that Nolan Roux is still on the list - Although he's largely unproven, he's still got far more going for him than Bendtner.

He didn't get a proper chance at Arsenal because he didn't fit into their style of play. He's a target man that's trying to play technical football at the highest level, if he's used in the right way he's a good player. He's better on the ground that Carroll is, and he's good in the air also.

Do you think Carroll would fit in on the Arsenal team? Liverpool are only starting to realize now that Carroll isn't made for a technical football, he's probably the 2nd best target man in the world behind Ibravimovic, and he should be used like a target man.

Not one of our strikers is going to garuntee us goals, i'd rather we payed through the nose for Bendtner than take the risk of not buying anyone at all. Bendtner is at least good enough to help a side achieve mid table security.

Also, how many games did he start for Arsenal? Not a proper chance. I think he could score 12-15 goals for us playing regularly.

I'd still like to see Bednter given a try but I think he will head for Stoke and maybe Ba will prove me wrong and get off with a flying start against Arsenal.

He won't get that many goals , don't like his attitude at all , thinks he's the best striker the world has ever seen but when given the chance at Arsenal last season (He was given a fair few champions league games and I watch Arsenal when I can) I was not impressed.

I just don't understand why we should get him when there are so many other better options in the market , but Ashley is too greedy to spend a little bit for them.

Bendtner and Ba up front , I don't see it working.
