Klopp needs to buy another CB and a proper LB, and has needed to since the summer as far as a LB goes, and a CB in January. His intransegence in not doing so (or is it the board?) will cost him his job. He made a judgement call to mend and make do in January and it ****ed our season up. Playing Lucas at CB again is nuts, though I'll get cries of 'He was great against Spurs'. Correction - he was adequate and Spurs were ****e. From the moment Ranieri was sacked we KNEW (or at least MITO and me did...) that Leicester would be out to prove something tonight. Dusty Bin, Flabino, Can't, Windy, Mangy, ... I could go on, we're just not up to it at all. They utterly shat themselves. But we have no ****ing players to challenge them. They expected to turn up tonight and flick the ball about - they just didn't expect a contest. ****s.

Klopp out?

I'm not sure - Klopp is definitely the type who will lay into players.

I just think it's one if not both things:

- players are just not good enough
- the system/tactics have been found out
If that were the case, why do we do well against the other top 6 teams - surely they can figure us out?
If the players aren't good enough, how come they can do so well against the top teams?
It's all down to desire and attitude, imo. We started that game in second gear - if we'd fluked an early goal we'd have gone on to win probably, but when you start slowly it's really difficult to crank it up.
We started to show some attitude when 3 down - way too late.

There is something seriously wrong when so many games against poor sides are lost and lost badly. It was obvious tonight from the kick off that LFC were just not up for it.

Klopp out?

Pay attention - I said further up the post that there is nobody to replace him. But I think he may well walk himself either this summer or next summer if he continues to fail - and fail he is doing.

is one goal difference the ref made yesterday ... even that will not had been good enough to save you guys today
It's not that simple though, is it? If Saints had gone 1 up the game would have taken a completely different turn, and who knows what would happen?
Anyway, I only said that as a response to Diego's dig, I'm not trying to use it as an excuse for our dismal performance today. My other posts should make it clear where I think the blame lies. <ok>

The first point is negated by the second. He can lay in all he wants, but he's painted himself into a corner having such a small, injury-prone squad with glaring deficiencies in key areas that he's done sod all to rectify so far.

Really?
Didn't he himself say he expected it to take 3 or 4 seasons to get back to competing at the top?

we'll see. But, if expected, we end up potless and out of the Top Four (or even six at this rate) we will not have progressed st all in close on two seasons.

Man management and motivation, that should come from the manager.
It's all good being a clown for the cameras and the players best friend but if they have no fear then you may as well move on.

Klopp is not doing it atm.

He needs to sort his **** out soon.

Beat them if needs be.

It wasn't a dig, somebody (sweats) asked when someone was going to blame the ref, I just pointed out Biscan already had <ok>

Bob paisley wouldn't just 'lay into' these players. They would, as with Fergie, actually fear him. No manager can manage without a stick as well as a carrot. Jurgen just strikes me a being all hairdryer but no actual blood on the carpet. He needs to get ****ing nasty PDQ, and that means actions, not words. trouble is, in eighteen months he simply hasn't improved the scope nor quality of his squad to back up any threats. Firmino, for instance, KNOWS he gets to play the next game even if he's pissed again.

Ah, that collective 'you' again. Not the first time you (correct tense) have used this logic to try and win a point, is it?

Quite right, I replied to Saint and it was Biscan that made the comment. Never paid attention to the poster and thought it was the same one hence the "you" <ok>

(post now corrected)
