If that were the case, why do we do well against the other top 6 teams - surely they can figure us out? If the players aren't good enough, how come they can do so well against the top teams? It's all down to desire and attitude, imo. We started that game in second gear - if we'd fluked an early goal we'd have gone on to win probably, but when you start slowly it's really difficult to crank it up. We started to show some attitude when 3 down - way too late.

Bob paisley wouldn't just 'lay into' these players. They would, as with Fergie, actually fear him. No manager can manage without a stick as well as a carrot.
