I have no love or affection for any particular car maker at all and buy cars as a means of getting from A to B in the cheapest and most environmentally friendly way I can..

you've perfected teleportation haven't you

looks eco friendly but thats just the final product and not counting all the r&d

I've sworn allegiance to BMW for some unfathomable reason, the newer ones (Post 2006ish) are an abomination of machinery.

I currently drive an X6 4.0d Xdrive and it's like **** off a stick, but thirstier than a mother ****er.

My last 2 or 3 BMW's have all had sensors or some stupid friggin electrical bit that's give up on me, resulting in a bill tantamount to the US national debt.

Next up for me is a Landrover Discovery, I've said it enough times now and I'm not changing my mind this time.

I keep saying I'm gonna change then I go car shopping and I just don't.

The latest models are all superb, although I do fully agree 06-2013 they went to **** a bit they were still far better than most.

I really might need to change cos of my back being **** if I do more than about 15 miles I can't get out the ****er.

Epilepsy mate.

It's a nightmare as you obviously know......my daughter has sporadic night fitting and isn't allowed to take lessons due to medication.
A friend of ours (years ago) got her licence back after going 5 years without a seizure and then had a massive episode on the M1 causing a multiple pile up.
Look on the bright side..... walking is much better for you :emoticon-0148-yes:

Mine's pretty much under control due to the drug levetiracetam.
I do still have the odd one though.
Just can't take the chance. I'll never drive again.

I adored Fords as a young un, and always will. Then I adored VW. Well Golfs. GTIs, had 7, plus a VR6.

Fell into being a BMW ****er 8 year back, and will never have anything else. Had an Audi for 5 weeks and I swear it was like having a ****ing skip on wheels after a big engine RWD.

Just had a new one, 430M and **** me I would have its babies if it was possible, it's flawless. Had 2 M3s and this is a better car.

My lass has a 330 coupe also. We are pure ****ers but we give no ****s haha
Recently drove a 435D M Sport X-drive and **** me, is that some car, i'm an Audi man myself and had loads of fast Audi's, RS4 beast, S3, S5 x 2 and now got an SQ5 Plus, which is like **** off a shovel, but can't remember any of them being as good as the beemer. And it's a diesel as well so guess that will be my next car when I come to change.

I have the same engine I think, in my X6 that's in the 435d

Nice on motorways, but about as exciting as a £5 lotto win.

The BM's are vastly over rated, nowadays for me, I could have more fun in a £30k Focus RS than I'd have in any modern BMW. Any.

One of the best cars I ever drove was a 1980 BMW 635 CSi.
I loved the shark type look of it.
Fantastic looking motor & a great drive.

The older ones were sick, I am looking at a red 3 series from 1991 trying to persuade the Mrs to let me have it as a project. Beautiful car.

Never been a BMW fan tbh but i was smitten by this one once i'd driven it, 0-60 in 4.7, that's mental for a diesel, and x-drive as well. I would never have dreamt of getting any rear wheel drive beemer cos they're useless in winter, but now they have 4 wheel drive? I'm tempted mate.

I like mine, big ****ing heavy slut. Rapid off the mark, probably weighs a ton more than the 4 series like so wouldn't keep up off the mark. About 310 HP and 750 million foot lbs of torque. It's a 4x4 by name only mind, it'd **** it's knickers if I took it on a patch of grass.

I've never been a fan of beemers.

Just something about them I don't like.

Even when I'm breathing the dust as they fly by. Or maybe that's why.
