Djurgården (Swedish team)
Used to be the best side in Sweden, but have been pretty **** the last 10 years.
It's borderline self harming to be a City/Djurgården/Sweden fan.....

Oh the memories.....

Is that Tobias Hysen that used to play for Sunderland? Boy was he terrible.

Yepp!

He's been good wherever he's gone besides Sunderland :emoticon-0110-tongu

But yeah, we had the likes of Isaksson, Elmander & Källström back in the days.

Isaksson and Källström are back now (Källström just joined last week), so things aren't too bad I guess

Liverpool were always my No.1 team from the early 60's when they were in Div 2. The 70's and 80's were big, big bonuses for all 'Pool followers and no doubt they claimed many plastics which I can understand have pissed off loads on here. Since moving to 'Ull 30 years ago I've followed the Tigers avidly and when we first got into the Premier league I wondered what my feelings would be in the two fixtures against them. Never any doubt....fully behind HCAFC (a little to my surprise!). Liverpool are definitely relegated to my No.2 now.

Oddly enough Sheff Utd, though a workmate when working in York. Went to a few of their games at the Lane and even the odd one away...

My soft spots were Man U (hold it everyone!) when I was at UMIST seeing the pre Munich team Busby Babes that included Edwards, Pegg and Violet. Then later living near Derby and Derby County in the Clough/Taylor era seeing Hector, Todd, Gemmell, McFarland etc. Even had a season ticket at the Baseball ground. But my heart was always at Boothferry Park.

Was born in Hull brought up in the South so used to go watch Wimbledon so now my 2nd team would be AFC Wimbledon.

Oh man, he was another one that failed massively in England. Marcus Rosenberg as well. Weird how most Swedish players struggle in England, but Norweigan and Danish players don't. That being said I'd consider Norweigan teams better than Swedish ones. Maybe not the Danish ones.

True, but we've had some good ones in the Prem as well

Olof Mellberg
Henrik Larsson
Fredrik Ljungberg

I guess the below were/are decent.

Jonas Olsson
Sebastian Larsson
Niclas Alexandersson
Jesper Blomquist

A bit more old school, but Glenn Hysén (dad to Tobias Hysén) & Anders Limpar.

Wouldn't say I've got 'a second team', but I lived in Middlesbrough for a few years, across that period when the new stadium was built, and went to games quite often during their relative Golden Era of Juninho, Ravanelli etc, so I do always look out for Boro's results, and have quite a lot of mates who are Boro fans.

At that time I was working in refractories - one of our main suppliers was based in Middlesbrough, as we were big buyers of their product we would get invites up to their executive box on European nights & other high profile games. They were great hosts ....... I don't like the smoggy twats but, had some good nights up there.

United , first team I supported as a kid, my Beckham-phase, didn't help living abroad with no internet meant my only connection with city was looking up the results in the newspaper the next day. Although I did go see my first game at Ferriby when I was 6 or something.
Not a second team anymore, when we played them in 2009, I wanted us to destroy them, that's when I realised those united days were gone.

But out of the big teams that's who I want to see win the league I suppose.

My second team is technically PSG, born there and lived there for 10 years. Although ligue 1 is just boring as ****.

Djurgarden were always amazing on whichever year's Champ Manager it was. I used to completely rape their team, picking up absolute worldies for 100k a pop and selling them for £10m.

Not got a second team but will be rooting for Lincoln City tomorrow against Burnley in the FA Cup. Hopefully the Imps might leave a few bruises on gorgeous George and a few others. No Robbie for the Clarets as he's cup-tied.

as a kid , the second team i checked results for was Villa , (look it was the 70s and there was no internet , no maps or owt) buuuuuuut i thought Aston Villa played at the School on Cavill (Villa)
