How long before the Villa fans turn on Bruce?

yes we did - their fans are complaining about **** negative football, strikers who are stood by themselves and can't score, trying 442 then 352 then 442 - he got rid of some of their better players and spunked more money replacing them, apparently its one of those horrible afternoons, the roofs caved in, negative after match press conferences saying he's in a relegation fight but he's the man to do it, given time and something about getting fisted and that should sort it out - sounds familiar -

I posted this on the Villa board in October - except for the Junior bit - all correct including McCormack farmed out and Gestede being sold - the guys a twat

prepare yourselves for **** negative football - he'll get rid of your strikers because he doesn't use them, Junior will be at the centre of your defence and anyone who disagrees will either be farmed out or put on the naughty step - good riddance - you deserve better

I don't think we ever lost 6 in a row, or 6 in 7 or whatever their run is.

The style of play is purely a matter of opinion.

We do have a habit of gifting three points to those who have lost 6 or 7 in a row though, Peterboro, Burnley, Palace, and Leicester come to mind.

I ain't counting my chickens yet.

Bruce was good getting us up initially but then it was stagnation, he didn't have the tactics or couldn't get players to move us on. He just couldn't couldn't get the best out of players often, sometimes they looked disinterested like they weren't up for it. I think he was easygoing and could relate to them and so had their support but at the higher level I think you have to demand more.

Noone claims Bruce was perfect. If he was a faultless manager, he wouldn't have stayed at little old Hull for years. It was a great fit for a while though, many more good days than bad, and we got two promotions to the PL and a cup final. For that I'll always be grateful to Brucie. Silva is a breath of fresh air, and from the outside looks to be the most thorough, tactically aware manager we've ever had. But that's no reason to be horrible about Bruce. He's a decent and very fair bloke, I wish him luck at Villa, he's gonna need it.

And we would never had attracted the likes of daws, jake, snoddy, robbo etc! They signed for SB not us!

We will always be 'little old Hull City' and 'small time' as long as we have fans who rubbish all our ex managers like spurned teenage lasses
