We didn't take our chances. Cheated by a bad refereeing decision. And poor decision making from Holloway imo. Should have been more aggressive and attacking with the level of play we were having. As the questions were asked about those who expressed concerns about Holloway... well, the jury is still out; poor decision making for Burton game and again today afraid to go get a game we were dominant in - then chuck it away at the end!!
 
I listened to the commentary and feel that we were to cautious, and did not take the game to them.

A perfectly good goal not given when the ball is clearly over the line is just about the worst way to lose a game imo.

Agree but they dont care! It reminds me of when I went to Bolton and saw us lose after Clint had scored with the ball a good yard over the line, but not given.

What were the poor decisions from Holloway?
 
I think after recent games we have enough to stay safe but we really do need stop losing to cr2p teams!
Sort it out Hollow! Burton now Blackburn! Something never changes no matter how you package it.

Yeah we were totally robbed. The entire away end saw it over the line but the assistant looking along the line didn't? It was reminiscent of Lampards in the world cup way over the line then bouncing out. Gutted.

Changing the team against Burton - which Holloway himself admitted to.
Today? Not pushing on Smith and Morrison earlier to be more aggressive and push to win the game. He was too reticent, it was clear if we had taken the initiative earlier we would increase our opportunities and punish their defenders who sounded very scared. It seemed he would be happy with a point.
Instead of having 6 points from 3 games, we now have 1 point. That's not good decision making and has cost us dearly in much needed points.

....ironical that their goal comes just before the announcement of "3 mins extra time". Definitely over the line - we were robbed. Perhaps Lua Lua might have been a better sub for us on 78 min, rather Morrison (who I thought wasn't yet match fit?)

Well at least Villa are 1-0 up at Forest to keep them behind us in the table (with a point they would go above us on GD).
