He isn't as good as Maguire, Davies or Dawson, or probably Ranocchia. That's 4 in front of him (or 3 if you count the injury to Davies). He isn't good enough to play in the Premier League, he's better off in the Championship putting his body on the line in a relegation battle.

He'd have played recently if he'd been fit and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd have been on the bench sometime soon
