Aye, I see that but come June when we're in the Championship & Silva has done one along with his short term temp agency mercenaries leaving us with no manager, no coaches & very few players we'll be crying out for players like Bruce. Never say never.
This is what I don't understand, Dennis. We stay up, we get the money, we pick and chose and rebuild. It won't be easy, but when has it been. Easier if we keep Silva. We get relegated, we get some money, we rebuild around those we can / want to keep. It might be a fresh nanager, too. Still better than persevering with Phelan. Seriosly, what has changed since December? Except now we have a chance and a bit of excitement watching it sail ir fail.
Yes he would, but why should he stay and suffer it; it would have been uncomfortable all around. I like the guy, but his time was done.
When you see some of our youth players going to these FL clubs it just shows what a wonderful job Pennock was was doing. Our biggest loss this window. Bollocks to Snodgrass and Livermore. More incompetence from that arses in charge.
With the exception of Snodgrass who I would have kept, and injuries, I think we're better off than December in terms of Silvas style of play I may sound like it but I'm not upset in the slightest I am probably less optimistic than you that if we go down they will spend to rebuild, rather than keep taking the loan back But I'm not hugely bothered even in that event as it would hasten their exit No issues for me really (well no more than usual)
