I realise 'tis transfer deadline day and this probably won't get much attention right now, but still, it's doing my head in how everywhere I turn, there are campaigners and protestors and petitions.

I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on US policy or anything, but seriously, wtf is a bunch of folk stood in a town centre in Liverpool going to achieve?

It just seems to me like adults today have nothing to do.

Let's try to keep it from descending into handbags, at least for a few pages whilst I try to understand it all.

The lefties do like a good protest <laugh>

On a side note, Trump is a right dangerous ****er. What the **** is he playing at?

Sacking off staff that don't go along with what he says? He's no different to Erdogan the totalitarian ****.

I think it was pretty obvious he was gonna start with shocking devastation, he made no bones about the state the country was in.

He's told car producers that they either move production to the US, or face having to pay a tariff, fair play. He knows far too much money goes to the far east, when it could be circulated in their own economy.

Ruthless seems to be his game, typical billionaire behaviour. I know one thing though, I want us to stay on the right side of him at all costs.

Would you like him if he bought SAFC from Short and invested heavily in the club?

There was a protest in Liverpool last night and they covered pretty much everything, one chant was "Refugees in Theresa May out"... I'm not sure where to start on that one, there's just so much wrong with it, but then there will be, these 'Corbynistas' are very much the same as each other.

The same people who want unlimited amounts of refugees to come and live in the UK, stand and campaign against the Tories for ruining the NHS.

The same people who rant about Trump banning travel from certain countries temporarily, have no answer as to why these same countries do not allow people in on Israeli passports.

I just think these people need to think things through before getting their felt tips pens out at every given opportunity.

On another note, I see the McCann's have lost an appeal against a book author who inferred they were involved with the disappearance of their child.

Well that'll be another compaign and petition starting up then.

Austria's ruling coalition has agreed to prohibit full-face veils in public spaces such as courts and schools.

It is also considering a more general ban on state employees wearing the headscarf and other religious symbols.

The measures are seen as an attempt to counter the rise of the far-right Freedom Party, whose candidate narrowly lost last month's presidential vote.

The centrist coalition nearly collapsed last week amid crisis negotiations over the government's future direction.

Detailing the package of reforms, the coalition devoted just two lines to the planned ban on the Islamic niqab and burqa.

"We are committed to an open society, which also presupposes open communication. A full-face veil in public places stands in its way and will therefore be banned," it said.

Have we had protests about that yet? Could be the march of the daleks that one.

    and Brexit, <ok>

Germany is getting rid as fast as they can along with other european countries. Obama deported thousands and Trump comes up with the idea of stopping them coming in in the first place. Ridiculous.

This travel suspension for these nations was put in place by the Obama administration, he listed the countries, not Trump.

Obama imposed a ban on Iraqi's and nobody said a word.

He could have done it on the quiet Tel but he chose a blaze of publicity instead. Guaranteed to cause uproar.

He could have been a bit more specific and left countries out of it and just banned exploding brush faced lunatics wherever they were from.

Obama didn't ban them on the quiet.

The trouble is, Trump is not a politician, he's a businessman. He's not going to pander to the soft **** like Obama had to do, he'll do what he said he wanted to do and won't care about people being offended.

If you want to sort out a failing economy, you want a ruthless businessman, not a ****ing nodding dog like Obama, that idiot will go down as one of the worst ever US Presidents.

He`s made that abundantly clear already. <laugh>

I suspect the permanently offended crowd will have plenty to keep them going.

What would happen, if Trump woke up tomorrow and said any women caught cheating on their husbands will be beheaded in the street?

There'd be hell to pay, rightly so, and the movement of hipsters would be uncontrollable.

Yet they're not doing any protests against Saudi Arabia... in fact, half of the male population are going to bed every night, hoping that one day, their football club gets taken over by one. <laugh>

Surely it's to send a message to our government? Only May won't get them as they don't deliver to Trump's colon.
