I got ticked off today.I watched Sutton beat Leeds.End of game,commercials.When they came back,no sign of celebrations of Sutton's shockwin.No! Straight over to watch Man u that hadn't even started.Says a lot for actual tv interest!

 

Hate not having the FA Cup draw after the matches have finished. And why the **** should we have to tune into the One Show to see who we've got, it's not like Blue Peter for adults has anything to do with football.

 

When I was a kid the draw was mid day on the Monday after ... used to have to take a radio into school to find out.

I want to see Rod Stewart do the draw. He did the Scottish Cup draw last week and it was hilarious. He had clearly been in hospitality and then Alan Stubbs pulled out ball 6 and couldn't work out if t was a 6 or a 9. Much more entertaining than the bland BBC draw where we watch old FAC "heroes" toe the party line and can't even be arsed to shuffle the balls properly.

I'll "respect" said "reasons" when I know what they are.

 

I'll take a stab at it and suggest those reasons are related to one of the club's owners writing in a newspaper column how nobody would be interested in signing him in January - and even if there was an offer they'd refuse it out of hand.

 

And there was me thinking the reasons are that Payet :

- didn't fancy playing the 2017-18 season in the league below

- is furious with the Spanners over the Astra Zeneca debacle
(denying him a whole season of Europa League before his season
even started)
