Forren is a free transfer, apparently has drink problems again. Caulker plays for QPR. He isn't as bad as either as them, he just isn't a player I would want long term. Unless he suddenly becomes good....
We've said time and time again that players are crap before even joining, let's hope he turns out as good as most of the others have!

I have no idea if he is any good but we do need an experienced player to cover Fonte leaving until the Summer: he is unlikely to be useless as The Board would not make a loan deal until the end of season. He has pace around him, lets not forget. Here's hoping we have a compitent player to cover until end of season.

I didn't say he was useless (useless is Forren), I said he is average/poor. But like I said as soon as he pulls on a shirt he will get a clean slate. Even if he is average he can just be let go with no problem in the summer.

With Fonte leaving, we need a loan for depth. Maybe he ends up great, or maybe he never sees a game. But I'd rather bring in a loan than make a panic buy.
And he is decorative.

Yeah, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it's not Fonte we're lining Sakho up to replace.
By all accounts we wanted him on loan with a purchase option, but Liverpool wants to be rid of him (and at a price we aren't currently willing to pay; rationally so, for what it's worth). I'm expecting we'll be back in for him in the summer if he's still there.
Beefy, never implied you said he was useless; agreed gets a fresh start to prove himself: Summer loan a good option for us
