The guy chats so much ****. Messed up saying senators on the right side are trying to start WW3.

It's about a state visit (meeting the Queen) not about us dealing with Trump. Nobody is suggesting we don't see him.
There was a Chinese state visit a year or so ago. There is approximately zero chance we'd stop Trump having the same.

If the Americans stick to what they say and this ban is temporary (think it's meant to be 90 days) then the visit may happen after the ban is lifted but that wouldn't be a surprise anyway. I imagine these things take time to organise.

Yes I have a feeling the Queen will find herself 'too busy' until everything calms down.

So California may get a vote on secession from the Union (which is of course illegal):

Wow. Talk about overreaction.

That article suggests that the movement started "within days of the upset presidential victory of Republican Donald Trump" but this subject has been talked about for years already. They may well get their vote however it isn't something that has just suddenly started since Trump won the election.

Seems dumb to me. Responding to isolationism with even more isolationism.

I really despair of the human race sometimes. How can people be so self-centred and narrow minded?

Wait for LondExit and MancExit. This is the twitter and facebook social media age we live in where any cause will gain traction. Surprises me that there isn't a reverse petition for "Pro Trump" although that would of course put your name out there for the "peacfeul" folks to track you down and "have a chat."

There has been a lot of talk about fake news etc this morning but just who will decide what is fake and what isn't? The amount of manipulation of the facts and spin in all news is ridiculous and it sounds much more to me like we will be given just the news that is deemed the "right" news. Very dangerous road to go down.

More the case that being Pro Trump would show you up as a hateful bigot. Being a Trump supporter is considered a shameful thing in most of the civilised corners of the globe, I should imagine. Especially now.
